Aikaterini Liakopoulou is an investment advisor with 10+ years in the technology sector, in Silicon Valley and Europe. She has worked with 100+ early-stage start-ups that have raised €1B+ in their scaleup journey. Based in Brussels, she has been working with the European Commission, the European Institute of Technology, and since 2019, a number of their deeptech portfolio companies with their scale-up journey. Her sweet spot is coaching deeptech founders who solve the most pressing problems on our planet, notably in climatech, defence, and space. With founders, she works 360: on leadership, governance, strategic partnerships, execution, fundraising, networking, and exit. In 2020 she was featured in Forbes’ Leadership column advocating for pragmatic collaboration between regulators and technologists. Her work is featured in Fortune, Forbes, Silicon Republic, and Spotify podcasts among others.
